We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta at the Grand Mayan Dining room and Living room of our condo And the kitchen We had a small private pool on our balcony There was a giant Mayan statue in theentrance of the resort Us sitting at the feet of the statue Doug and Adrienne sitting at it's feet Carolyn and Adrienne swimming with the dolphins. Bruce coming down the slide at the resort wave pool Doug and Carolyn hanging out in the wave pool. Bruce and Doug in the main pool headed towards the pool. Our favorite pool bartender He took good care of us. Went in to Puerto Vallarta. Lots of sand sculptures on the beach IMG_1689 ...and permanent sculpures also. Life imitating art Having lunch at Mi Querencia I love Mexico - always 2 for 1 margaritas It was yummy One of the buses we had to ride on to get downtown. Some views of downtown - some old... ...and some new Us on the beach Got back to our condo and had a nice towel sculpture and roses for us. Relaxing after getting dinner Out on the beach at the resort View of the wave pool and resort There was a stream for inner-tubing We went around several times Hung out by the pool for the day. Had dinner in the village down the street at Quixotes Heading out for a trip down the coast for snorkling and visiting a small fishing village (Yelapa) Cruise ship and pirate boat at the marina. Walmart is a big hit in Puerto Vallarta IMG_1765 Headed down the coast still Some entertainment from the crew. Stopped for some snorkeling - who knew that fish loved potato chips so much. Doug and Adrienne did some kayaking Approaching Yelapa We made it and starting our tour of the vilage. Looking back at a view of the beach At the back of the town is a small water fall. Of course Bruce had to get in. View of the ocean from the village Headed out to the beach Some nice smooth 180 proof tequila. Kissing swan towels awaited us when we got back to our condo. Went to dinner at the Japnese restaurant at the resort. Also very good. Go out for a sunset cruise and dinner and show at Las Caletas - have to take a boat to get there. We reached Las Caletas Headed to the show And now for some dinner The next day we went back into Puerto Vallarta. had some lunch at a place by next to the beach Another sculpture Our last night we had dinner at the resort restaurant They made my Mexican coffee with a show... ...and left it flaming Our last morning we walked down the beach for some breakfast And was joined by this guy Our last group picture Saying good-bye to our favorite bartender jquery photo viewerby VisualLightBox.com v5.7
